لقد تم تحديد نمط اختبار اللغة الإنجليزية لهذا العام الدراسي ليكون الاختبار من 100 درجة موزعّة على أربع أسئلة أساسية بالاختبار ستكون كما يلي:
- السؤال الأول Reading comprehension
السؤال الأول: (قطعة + أسئلة اختيارية).
(15 درجة).
السؤال الثاني: (قطعة+ أسئلة اختيارية).
(15 درجة).
- السؤال الثاني Vocabulary الكلمات:
السؤال الأول: (توصيل الكلمات مع الصورة أو المعاني).
(10 درجات).
السؤال الثاني: تكملة الفراغات بالمفردات المناسبة.
(10 درجات).
- السؤال الثالث Grammarالقواعد:
السؤال الأول: (اختر الإجابة الصحيحة).
(10 درجات).
السؤال الثاني: فقرة تحتوي على فراغات وعلى الطالب اختيار الفعل المُناسب.
(10 درجات).
- السؤال الرابع Writing الكتابة:
الموضوع الأول: كتابة قصة أو موضوع، على أن يتم تحديد الزمان والمكان والشخصيات.
(15 درجة).
الموضوع الثاني: كتابة فقرة حول موضوع مُحدد بالسؤال.
(15 درجة).

يُمكن التدريب على سؤال الكتابة writing لكتابة المواضيع البسيطة أو القصص المختلفة، والتي من أهمها يُمكن الاستعانة بالنماذج الآتية:

- Story the zoo:
- Last week I went to the zoo. I went with my family. First we went to see the monkeys. After that we went to see the lions. Suddenly A lion came out of the cage. The people started to run. Then I called the guards. They took the lion to the cage. Finally, we went back home. It was really scary.
