ثالثًا: قواعد الـ grammar
حروف الجر
- In: للتعبير عن الوقت (شهور- مواسم- سنوات).
- On: تأتي مع أيام الأسبوع.
- At: تُستخدم للتعبير عن وقت مُحدد وتأتي مع بعض الكلمات مثل: Night- weekend- sunset.
صفات المقارنة
- تُستخدم للمقارنة الفعلية فيما بين شيئين مُتماثلين في الصفة أو للتمكّن من التمييز الجوهري لشيء أو شخص من الكل.
- تُستخدم صيغة (As الصفة As) للتمييز فيما بين شيئين أو شخصين، على أن يكونوا مُشتركين بنفس الصفة.
- أما الصيغة (— er+ than) فتُستخدم للتمييز بين شيء عن آخر.
- للتمييز بين شيء من كل أو فرد من مجموعة تُستخدم الصيغة (the + Adjective+ est ).
- جميع الصفات التي تنتهي بالحرف (Y) يُقلب إلى (I) مثل: كلمة happy نجدها تتحول إلى happier/ happiest.
