Use of English
1- We use the past simple to talk about actions that happened in the past.
We add-ed to regular verbs to make them past.
Example: Their grandfather asked for a glass of mint tea.
2- Irregular verbs do not have-ed endings in the past simple.
Ex: He went hunting with his father.
3- We use did + verb in the infinitive to make yes/ no questions in the past simple
Ex: Did you feel hungry?
4- We use the present perfect simple with for to talk about things that started in the past and are still true today.
Ex: He has lived in the UAE for seven years.
Ex: I have spoken English for three months.
5- When we write a question we use:
Ex: How long has she lived in the UAE
Ex: How long have you spoken English

- The special person in my family is my mother. She is kind, helpful, hardworking and wise.

- My mother likes many activities like cooking, and she likes reading stories for us.
3- What does he/she do to help other people?
- She does all the housework, takes care of us, and helps me with my home- work.
